I am a recent BSc (Hons) Business and Management Edge Hill University graduate and knew that I wanted to become a recruitment consultant ever since I completed a module about it during my degree. Previously, I have worked in Argos Financial Services for a year, which allowed me to improve my confidence and communication skills.
What do you do when not working?
I really enjoy travelling, both abroad and within the UK, along with watching animal documentaries.
Are there any people or books that have inspired you?
I think I am most inspired by Jeff Bezos, as he has founded Amazon back on the 5th of July 1994, and has managed to turn it into a massively successful company with a current net worth of around $314.9 Billion. He did it by working hard and coming up with innovative solutions to adapt to the changing market. I believe that this is showing that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
What’s your favourite thing about your job at Kensingtons?
I have only just recently started, however so far, my favourite thing about working for Kensington is the support and all the training that you receive in order to become a better recruitment consultant. I also believe that the company’s values align with my own, as I am also very focused on quality, communication, and knowledge, and committed to succeed.
What are your 3 core values?
I’d say quality, as I try to complete any task given to me as well as I can, followed by commitment as I believe it’s important to have the desire to grow, both in your personal and professional life, along with honesty.
