Job Title: Head of Business Development
Location: Cambridge, MA
Industry: Additive Manufacturing 

Salary: DOE

A rapidly growing company working in the additive manufacturing industry, are looking to recruit a Head of Business Development who will be resourceful, organised, motivated to make sales, and able to discover new and creative ways in which to present the company products.

This role reports to the CEO and you will play an integral part in shaping the company’s strategic direction and it’s growth.

What you will be doing:
•Building out a business development team to drive the company’s success.
•Rapid growing of responsibilities and leadership as company scales.
•Partnering with a talented team with diverse engineering and design backgrounds 
to drive priorities.
•Navigating complexity to develop clear short, medium and long term strategies with 
measurable outcomes. 

Day to day tasks:

•Identify, qualify, and close new customers.
•Deepen existing customer relationships by taking a product driven approach to 
relationship management (e.g., understanding needs, defining requirements, 
bridging engineering and business teams).
•Develop competitive strategies and plans.
•Create project timelines and assist in preliminary costing estimates
•Research trends and marketing data to create quarterly trend and innovation 
•Works closely with the director, graphic designer, and R&D team in drafting 
Innovation Presentations
•Strong follow-up post meetings. 

What you will need:
•2-5 years relevant work experience at top tier consulting or consumer product company, or in a similar business development or product role at a high growth start-up.
•Strong problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and ensure periodical deliverables. 

•Ability to self-start and manage personal workflow to meet deadlines.
•Experiences/Interests in medical/cosmetic/consumer industry preferred, but not
